Description
The Carlon E987NR is a surface-mounted PVC junction box designed to allow multiple conduits to be connected and wire splices made within a protected enclosure. Manufactured from PVC thermoplastic molding compound, this box offers the corrosion resistance and durability needed for both indoor and outdoor electrical installations, including direct burial applications where protection from moisture, dirt, and physical damage is essential.
This junction box solves the challenge of safely housing electrical connections in demanding environments. The gasketed lid with stainless steel screws provides a seal against water intrusion during normal use and hose-directed water exposure. Use this box for indoor wiring, outdoor conduit runs, or in mixed environments where you need reliable protection for electrical connections.
