Description

The 1/2 Inch Brass Compression Sleeve is a high-quality, lead-free compliant product designed for reliable plumbing applications. This durable sleeve is engineered to meet stringent regulations, including California AB-1953 and Vermont SB-152, ensuring safety and compliance for your plumbing needs. With its three-piece construction consisting of a nut, sleeve (or ferrule), and body, this compression sleeve is versatile and easy to use.

  • Lead-free compliant product that meets Public Law 111-380
  • Compliant with California AB-1953 and Vermont SB-152 regulations
  • Three-piece construction: nut, sleeve (or ferrule), and body for enhanced durability
  • Compatible with copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing (note: plastic requires 60P sleeve and 61P insert)
  • Temperature range: negative 65 degrees Fahrenheit to plus 250 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Standard fittings utilize short nuts; long nuts available for high vibration applications
  • To order compression fittings with long nut, add a '1' in front of the part number (e.g., 68 becomes 168)
  • Easy to disassemble without the need for a flaring tool
  • Primary applications include water, gasoline, oil, and vacuum lines
  • Assembly instructions:
  • 1. Cut a smooth, square end on the tubing
  • 2. Slide the nut, then the sleeve onto the tube, ensuring the thread faces the end
  • 3. Insert the tube into the fitting
  • 4. Thread the nut onto the fitting until snug, following these guidelines: Up to 1/4 inch = 1-1/4 turns, 5/16 inch = 1-3/4 turns, 3/8 inch and up = 2-1/4 turns
