Description

The Anderson Metals Compression Sleeve is a high-quality, lead-free brass fitting designed for reliable connections in various plumbing applications. This 1/4 inch compression sleeve is compliant with Public Law 111-380, ensuring safety and environmental standards are met. Ideal for both professional plumbers and DIY enthusiasts, this product is perfect for use with copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing.

  • Lead-free compliant product that meets Public Law 111-380
  • Compliant with California AB-1953 and Vermont SB-152 regulations
  • Constructed with a three-piece design: nut, sleeve (or ferrule), and body
  • Compatible with copper, aluminum, or plastic tubing (note: plastic requires 60P sleeve and 61P insert)
  • Temperature range: negative 65 degrees to plus 250 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Standard fittings utilize short nuts; long nuts available for high vibration applications
  • To order compression fittings with long nut, add a "1" in front of the part number (e.g., 68 becomes 168)
  • Easy to disassemble without the need for a flaring tool
  • Primary applications include water, gasoline, oil, and vacuum lines

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Cut a smooth, square end on the tubing
  2. Slide the nut, then the sleeve onto the tube, ensuring the thread faces the end
  3. Insert the tube into the fitting
  4. Thread the nut onto the fitting until snug, following these guidelines: up to 1/4 inch = 1-1/4 turns, 5/16 inch = 1-3/4 turns, 3/8 inch and up = 2-1/4 turns

This compression sleeve is an essential component for creating secure and leak-proof connections in plumbing systems. Whether you are working on a new installation or repairing existing lines, the Anderson Metals Compression Sleeve provides the durability and reliability you need.
