Used as a booster for your existing detergent it gets laundry cleaner, helping brighten and deodorize clothes; around the house it cleans and deodorizes kitchens and bathrooms.

How to use in the laundry

• Detergent booster: pour 1/2 cup directly into the machine drum, add detergent and wash
• Pre-soak for tough stains: 1/2 cup per gallon of warm water, soak at least 2 hours, then wash as normal
• Laundry stripping: 1/2 cup borax, 1/2 cup washing soda and 3/4 cup laundry detergent per gallon of warm water; soak 5 to 6 hours, stirring every hour, then wash as usual

Around the home

• All-purpose spray: dissolve a little less than 1/4 cup in 16 oz. of warm water for kitchen and bathroom surfaces, calcium and magnesium buildup on faucets and appliances, and mold and mildew odors
• Dishwasher: pour 1/4 cup into the base, add detergent and run the load to cut water spots
• Carpet steam cleaning: 1/2 cup per gallon of hot water in the tank; spot-test a hidden area first and let the carpet dry completely
